The department of Electrical Engineering was started in the year 1958. The department was set up keeping in view of the increased demand of the industry and it able to fulfill the same. At present the department is equipped with Electrical Machine Laboratory, Electrical Measurement Laboratory and Electrical Workshop Practice Laboratory.
The Electrical Engineering Department has a maintenance wing which is looking after the electrical maintenance, installation of machine of different department and other electrical repair work.
